I am a writer, editor, guitarist, cartoonist, motorcyclist, and rheumatoid arthriticist.

As a kid, I lived in Idaho, Utah, Caracas, Hong Kong, and Connecticut. After getting a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Connecticut College, I began freelance editing, illustrating, and writing stories for the Star Wars Adventure Journal, based around West End Games' classic D6 gaming system. I'm currently settled in Newport News, Virginia, with my husband, cat, Indian Scout Sixty, and more guitars than necessary (probably). I am a history book editor at William & Mary's Omohundro Institute, and I write fantasy.
